Harris, Trump To Hold Dueling Campaign Events In PA On Eve Of Election Day

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are holding dueling campaign events across Pennsylvania on Monday, Nov. 4.

The two presidential candidates will be making stops all over the Keystone State on the eve of Election Day, including Allentown, Reading, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. The former president is also expected in Lititz on Sunday morning. 

The Harris-Walz Campaign

The Harris Campaign is scheduled for a stop in Allentown sometime in the early afternoon, according to a news release. Exact details on the location were not released as of press time.

Harris then heads to Pittsburgh for a rally at Point State Park 601 Commonwealth Place from 3 to 7 p.m. Click here to sign up and attend

Next, she is coming to Philadelphia later that night for what 6abc Action News is calling a "massive Get Out the Vote concert" that will see road closures and parking restrictions around the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

A stage for the event was being built at the foot of the Museum of Art, according to 6abc Action News. The museum will be closed Monday, a CBS News story states.

No performers have been announced at the time of publication.

The Trump-Vance Campaign

Meanwhile, Donald Trump will be appearing at Santander Arena in Reading, according to WFMZ 69 News

Trump's visit will see parts of Cherry and Penn streets closed beginning at 6 a.m. and they will remain closed all day, the WFMZ report states. Parking will also be restricted around the arena, according to the Delco Times.

Reading schools will also be impacted, with the Reading School District dismissing early due to anticipated road closures for the rally, the school district's website states.

The Trump campaign's website did not have the Reading stop, or any other stops, listed on its event page at press time.

What is on his website, is a Pittsburgh stop where Donald Trump will be at the PPG Paints Arena located at 1001 Fifth Avenue at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4. Doors open at 2 p.m., click here to register for a general admission ticket. 

Another stop in Lititz was officially announced by the Trump team in Lititz on Sunday, Nov. 3. at FlyADVANCED Lancaster located at 530 Airport Road. The doors will open at 6 a.m. and "The 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks," at 10 a.m. Click here to register for a general admission ticket. 

The Pittsburgh Mayor On The Dueling Events

County Executive Innamorato and Mayor Gainey said: 

“With expected road closures and traffic for both rallies on Monday, we want County and City employees to be able to get home safely and with minimal disruption. We encourage everyone who visits downtown for a rally on Monday to respectfully and peacefully make their voice heard and we are looking forward to a smooth Election Day on Tuesday.”

Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh are jointly announcing an early dismissal for non-essential County and City workers at noon on Monday, Nov. 4. 

Individuals and businesses are asked to avoid unnecessary travel in and around downtown to reduce traffic and parking congestion likely to be caused by the events.

"The County Office Building will remain open until 4:30 pm on Monday for ballot return. Other ballot return sites across the county will be open until 7:00 pm on Monday. County row offices and the courts will make their own determination on hours of operation on Monday," as stated in the release.
